Double NEIPA double dry-hopped with Galaxy, Citiva, Amarillo, El Dorado and Citra. This is a big beer that hides its ABV very well and is very soft.

Pours a bright orange with a sun-burst color when held against the light. It's heavy haze, bordering on murky. Head is one and a half fingers of off-white foam. Aroma is papaya, grapefruit, melon, and mango with a rindy, semi-dank side just beyond the tropical fruits. Flavor profile is papaya, grapefruit, mango, melon, and orange zest with a semi-dank, herbal finish. While the opening is tropical fruits, the finish leans more into hop bite. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a mild grit and moderate effervescence. It's neither sharp and crisp, nor soft and velvety. Thickness is medium. Overall, a well appointed NE IPA with tropical fruits up front with some more unique and playful hop notes behind for depth and dynamics.

Canned in 9/22/21; consumed on 10/16/21
Pours an opaque, lemon-gold body capped with multiple fingers of dense, fluffy, white foam; excellent head retention leaves ¾ of a finger of near-creamy cap along with a rocky, moderate collar, and an extensive spread of webby/spotty lacing across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to a lemon twang bookended with hop resins, a weedy tone set for the bright citrus of tangerine and lush notes of creamy guava; a more dank lemongrass accents a depth of green papaya on a tropically forward close.
Taste features wet peppermint complimenting dank mango upfront, with spicy undertones of pumpernickel bread crumbs informing the backbone as tangerine and blood orange zest burst through mid-palate; thick, weedy grass levels underripe lime on the back end, followed by fresher papaya and light white grape must finishing.
Mouthfeel shows a deft medium body with airy, moderate carbonation; a creamy texture extends over the mid-palate, where a slight hop twang invigorates; taut, nearly stiff construction on the back end is made lively through a juicy underlay.
Lushly creamy and eccentrically varied in its myriad hop expression, the result is a respectably diverse profile highlighting authentically dank notes pervasive throughout and making this one especially memorable.
