2019 Vintage Bottle purchased from the brewery.
Appearance: Dispensed a clear, even cheerful-looking yellow body with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: A good, fetid, funky aroma. A bit of barnyard, light cheese curd, exotic florals, stonefruit nectar and twangy-scented yard grapes. It's a fun, vibrant stink, frankly.
Taste: Sweet, fruity with kiwi, scupps and pear doused in white wine. Tart, tangy. Soft white bread, some hay-like accents. A nibble of cheese and a sip of salted cider.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Nice, if you like a little gentle scupping now and again. MV reminds me of the scratch-made scuppernong jelly my grandmother made in the distant 80's.

Purchased this 2019 vintage bottle at the brewery during a Christmas time visit. Poured the beer into a tulip glass. Bright clear yellow color with short lived white head and little lacing. Dry white wine smell and taste. Tart lemons and pepper spice. Oak and leather notes. Excellent beer with spicy tamales!

Poured from a bottle (2019 bottling) into a small plastic tumbler
L: perfectly clear golden yellow (srm ~7) with an incredibly dense and beautiful white head. Tons of visible carbonation
S: great wild ale funk with some rich, slightly sweet grape aroma follows. Rich melon, pear, and peach notes, quite fruit-forward but not off putting. Bit of that barnyard funk, slightly tart, little wet blanket action. Some lemon/light citrus, hay
T: just great, I’m so pleased. Follows the nose, with the funk more restrained allowing the grapes to shine. Get a lot of that melon note from the nose, slightly sweet but like a restrained riesling. Peach, white grapes, pear. A slight tart funk providing some contrast, coming through more in the middle and medium finish, nice structure from that barrel aging
F: medium body, medium+ carbonation, quite smooth the head on this is almost velvety. Slightly drying, moderately refreshing
O: a really excellent beer, didn’t have the first batch glad they decided to brew it again. Fruit comes through beautifully, mixed culture base shines, barrel aging adds complexity

Pours a clear golden color with a one inch white head that quickly dissipated to a thin ring and left no lacing. Smells of wheat, white wine, cloves and yeast. Tastes of white grapes, Belgian yeast, wheat, cloves, pepper, bananas, a hint of rye and the slightest bit of funk. Light bodied, well carbonated, moderately dry finish.
