(16 oz can, 6.1% abv, canned on 12/23/25; purchased cold at the brewery... poured into a proper pint)
L: very dark brown liquid, almost opaque; foam dies quick but leave a collar
S: fresh dark-roast coffee front and center, hint of thin mint toasty chocolate cookie creeping out around the sides... coffee character not quite reaching artificial intensity
T: really malty ("syrup" flavored) up front before the coffee and I suppose roasted malt surge forward in the aftertaste to where that's all I taste (little malt sweetness clinging to the palate)... the dose of at least matches the intensity of the malt richness, if not loudly stuffing it down... good choice on the coffee variety, as it adds some earthy depth
F: bit of fat to its body at the onset, but with a glassy texture and little residual viscosity... the roasted ingredients leave a smokehouse singe at the back of the palate
O: a coffee-infused beer where the coffee takes center stage... I could see having this in regular rotation for a stint (2518)

A pint can into a Nonic.
The pour is dark, with a generous khaki colored soapy head initially that fades quickly and leaves little lacing.
The pleasant aroma is of roasted coffee. The flavor is of dark roasted caramelized malt that is coffee infused. The oatmeal helps the mouthfeel I suppose. The bitterness is enjoyable and compliments the maltiness and roasted barley and coffee beans well. Well balanced with an enjoyable finish.
