Faintly foggy burnt gold, nearing amber, with a short off-white head that clings in a doily ridge.
Funky pear meets grassy herbality that even exhibits a rose-like bitterness before an exhale of toasted, lightly buttered honey biscuit.
Really unique and commendably oaky, it comes close to Jester King, if not for less carbonation and body, and of course oakiness. Though a bit of white wine does emerge as it warms.
I haven't had much Noble Creature like this since they made this beer how many years back--I wonder if it scared some of their regulars.
