Chicago 1/12/16 (12 oz bottle poured into pint glass). Strong wheat aroma with hint of citrus and lemon, Merky blonde pour, minimal dissipating white head, heavy carbonation. Taste is of strong hops, orange prevalent, somewhat harsh texture and going down. OK average offering.

Served in a Trooper shaker pint glass.
Didn't think I'd end up trying this one out from a bottle, but here we are. It pours a mostly clear brass topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises musty greens, very light leek, and very light sweet biscuit. The taste brings in more of the same, with sweeter greens and a lighter leek character (thankfully). The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a drying finish. Overall, this beer just didn't do it for me. While it wasn't really offensive, it lacked any wheat character whatsoever, and the hoppy character was mediocre at best.
