This British Bitter is made with imported floor-malted Maris Otter barley & Golding hops.

The beer is light gold with slight copper highlights. It has a beige head with adequate lacing.

The aroma is a bit slight, but it is appetizing. Slightly floral & fruity.

My initial impression was comfortably bracing with some nice apple/plum taste in the background. The beer turned a little sour later and that was a bit of a disappointment. Still not a bad stab at an ESB, but don’t expect a Fullers here.

The mouth was slightly hick and a bit creamy. Drinkabilty suffered a bit from the sourness, but it is well worth a sample.
