Poured a nice billowing white head stickiness down the glass. Lots of carbonation been sitting in the fridge for months. Great taste very crisp. Malts are very well balanced. Last sip made me really feel the alcohol. Not a bad lager!! I will stick with there McCarthy Red for now!! Oktoberfest is coming!!

Slightly dull, pale yellow, hay color with just a little bit of yeasty haze it seems. OK bubbling, nice head and residual foam that lasts through all 12 ounces.

Very dry yeasty fruit aromas with lightly toasted crackers, and a little grassy zest of hops in the nose.

The taste has some chalky yeast fruit flavors that dry out a little more in the middle. The malts give a lightly toasted water crackers flavor mixed with soft citric and grass zest from the American hops. The finish is a little dry, but smooth.

A very nice, flavorful quencher.

12oz bottle poured into an imperial pint glass.

A: Pours out a very clear golden yellow, with a scant, bubbly white head that disappears in a matter of minutes.

S: Light cereal grain aroma, touches of pear, apple and biscuit, inviting to say the least.

T/MF: Wonderfully sweet cereal graininess with touches of lemon grassiness, pear and just a bit of white pepper. Quite refreshing, light on the tongue with a slightly sweet but lastingly astringent finish.

D: Very refreshing beer, light tasting and feeling for a 6% beer. A beer that is certainly worth picking up if you see it.
