Guinness Antwerpen Stout aged in Bulleit bourbon barrels. Rich and endlessly complex. The stout we first brewed just for Belgium aged in charred oak bourbon barrels. Coconut and oaky vanilla aroma with a rich and full bodied, dark caramel and coconut flavor.

Dark brown black appearance with a fast fleeting beige head. Malt, molasses, coffee, cocoa, bourbon, peat, vanilla, raisin. Moderate body, light carbonation, smooth and silky.

Appearance:
An orb of eternal darkness sits within the snifter, cold, placid, waiting. It devours the light; not a single ray escapes it, nor imparts any hue against the pure blackness. A cream colored halo rims its dark depths, hugging the edge of the glass, seemingly afraid to approach its center. The lacing, although stalwart, dares not dip more than a dainty toe into it.
Bouquet:
A siren’s song of wintry milk chocolate, brûléed sugar, plump raisins, and a gentle, woodsy bourbon. Ends with a soft snowfall of vanilla.
Feel:
A plush, medium body that’s slick as black marble and finishes with a silken swirl of miniature bubbles.
Taste:
Milky caramel, coated in a thin layer of dark chocolate with a potent dot of gooey warm, bourbon liqueur at its epicenter. Traces of cold vanilla and singed oak linger in the shadows.
*Notes: aged for 12 months in refrigerator. The flavor is greatly enhanced by aging.

From the 12 oz bottle in a snifter via Bluejacket74---Cheers!
This mighty fine brew pours a dark brownish verging on black
color with a decent head of khaki foam that settles to a thick
ring with subtle lacing. Nose of subtle bourbon with musty barrel
oak and vanilla notes among dark cocoa and roasted malts. Flavors
hit the nose home with dark roasted malts and moderately rich
and balanced bourbon with oak and mild vanilla touched with
some coffee and light char. Nice mouth feel; medium verging
on medium full body, medium carbonation is very lively, and a
moderately dry finish that is fairly sweet.
Overall, a SOLID little brew and one I am glad to have tried!
Cheers

look - not much lacing. looks like a cold cup of black coffee, not the sexiest stout I've seen
Smell - Raisins, wood, and some vanilla. not picking up on any chocolate notes surprisingly.
Taste - You can really taste the bourbon, but it's surprisingly smooth and mellow. It literally tastes like Guinness mixed with Bulleit. I'm pleased with the outcome.
Feel - Decent viscosity, not too thick or thin, somewhere in the middle. Smooth not too much carbonation.
Overall - A very big surprise that something this good came from a Guinness being barrel-aged. Definitely worth trying, I would buy it again.

Pours a two-finger light tan head that fades slowly leaving a little lace. Deep opaque ruby color. Medium carbonation and medium-bodied. Bourbon nose and strong bourbon flavor. Higher ABV, 10%, is hidden. Decent stock ale but not worth $18.99 for a 4-pak of 330ml bottles from Hannafords Concord, NH.
