Industrial Crossbreeze is our 8% hop saturated DIPA. ICB utilizes Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic hops and is double dry-hopped with massive additions of all three varieties. This hop combo leads to a resinous, hop-forward beverage that glows with flavors and aromas of Pineapple & Lychee. It’s like a pack of juicy pineapples that have been drinking rum punch all night.

16oz canned on 10-6-25, opened 10-25-25. Purchased at the brewery 10-22-25.
3 finger white head with amazing retention. Patchy, clingy lacing. Orange and opaque body.
Ripe nose of orange, pineapple, orange creamsicle - green and fresh, like crumbling hop pellets in your hand and enjoying the aroma. 'Saturated' with hops is the brewery's description and it's a perfect one.
Flavors of orange, ripe pineapple, mango and more - full flavored, thick with citrus and tropical hops.
Full body, soft mouthfeel and a bit of zesty bitterness. Thick, rich full of hops and a long semi-sweet finish.
Outstanding.

Industrial Crossbreeze Definitive Brewing Company IPA - Imperial / Double
Grapefruit and pineapple hoppy aroma is big. Definitely rum punch style! Smooth>juicy>dry feel. Layers of the three hops over and over again: Earthy pineapple and peppery, dry citrus lychee. Earthy bitter finish from the dry hop addition. Very heady stuff

Canned 2020-01-10 - another knockout from these folks. There's a commonality to many of their IPA that I enjoy immensely, with each offering their own unique twist. This one's no exception. Pours hazy light golden with decent head retention and some lacing. Aromas are immediately recognizable as from this brewer, and I can't get enough - tropical fruits, melon, some citrus. Flavors follow with a delicious malt presence balancing the equation perfectly. Finish is neither dry nor sweet nor cloying, just clean and leaving me wanting more.

16oz can dated 1/10/20.
Pours opaque, milky yellow with a fluffy, dense head of white. Pithy grapefruit with unripe peach and orange pulp in the nose. Medium bodied with a soft, chaulky mouthfeel. Grapefruit, peach, and pineapple skin on the palate. Finishes dry and raw with plenty of bitterness and lingering pithy tropicals.

Industrial Crossbreeze pours a murky orange juice yellows with a small well defined head that linger leaving some good retention. The smell is tropical fruit with a slight melon sweetness, a grassy note and a floral component. The taste is creamy and smooth over the palette, as the taste follows the nose, with a big dose of tropical fruit including over ripened pineapple and mango with a mandarin orange and mild hop bite.

From a 16oz can, dated 10/12/18. Served in a tulip.
Pours a super-murky, pale, milky-orange with a scant finger of creamy head. Retention is just about OK, leaving a wispy cap and a thin curtain of slippery lacing.
Smell is light but pleasant, sweet and tart, lemon flowers and vanilla.
Tastes of slightly 'off' orange juice, lemon and overripe pineapple. Earthy - almost muddy - and dank. Some good sweet citrusy flavours but pretty much overwhelmed by harsh, grainy, slightly sour booziness.
Feel is smooth and juicy, medium bodied and well carbonated.
Overall, a mixed bag. Some nice juicy flavours here but gratuitously boozy.

On tap at Quarry Taproom in Hallowell, Maine.
Poured into half pint
Murky, hazy, straight orange juice yellow. It looks like a glass of orange juice. Very New England haze. Very little head, a creamy thin film, and poor to fair spotty lacing
Aroma is tropical and grassy hops with a noticeable dankness. A slight oniony hint, but overall, rather mellow.
Palate is a a big swish of tropical hoppiness, with pineapple, mango, orange, cut grass, and a small note of garlic. The danky garlicky notes do not detract from the overall experience terribly much, and give it an added layer of hoppy complexity. This is a very unique and standout NEIPA. It's not all that dry, and the bitterness is extremely restrained. This is juicy and hoppy and tasty.
Mouthfeel is C-R-E-A-M-Y. Like an orange julius mixed with heavy cream. The greatest mouthfeel on an IPA I have ever experienced. The feel is what truly elevates this beer. It's thick and creamy and smooth - almost a whipped quality. This is the Definitive (haha) New England IPA. My only complaint is that I only got a half pint. Phenomenal.
Edit: This is one day later, and I grabbed some from work tonight, cans dated 9/14/18, and I have to say, surprisingly, this is better from the canned batch. Consumed from tulip. The onion/leek notes on the nose and palate aren't really here this time. It actually seems a touch fruitier, with tropical pineapple, mango, papaya, and even some stone fruit in there - peach and apricot. It's still creamy silky soft and orange julius like, but without the grassy garlic notes coming through - for this, I have raised my taste rating a notch. I consider this world class, and it has just bumped down Sip of Sunshine, and the best DIPA/IPA I've had. Amazing.
Further edit (10/28) - had some at Definitive last week, and noticed a stark difference. I talked to one of the guys there, and he said they've tweaked the recipe. New batch isn't as creamy as it used to be, and there's much more of a bite to it now. A noticeable increase in bitterness. It's still good, but it isn't the world class DIPA that it was when I reviewed it. Unfortunate. Should have left well enough alone. Oh well. Nothing perfect lasts. If you can find cans before October, I'd say that old recipe is a better experience than a super fresh can of the new recipe. Just my two cents.
