The cascading pulp upon pour to glass is cool and THE feature here. Banana notes are similar to that of a good heffe. Some vanilla and strawberry on back end with little astringency for 9%.

Served in a can. It looks like a cooperative venture with Urban South Brewery. Gold to copper color with a very faint haze. Two-finger initial head which settles normally. Some spots and a streak or two for lacing.

Banana cream pie, candy cane sugar, and some citrus tartness for the nose. Very much like a strawberry-vanilla candy. Perhaps some graham cracker smells in the background. I am a little dubious of the taste.

The taste is more beer-like with a traditional paler malt and a definitive (pun intended) hop bite. I note strawberries and cream in the background. I do not pick up on the banana, but I do detect some vanilla. Decent body with a lowered effervescence. Extremely complex flavor profile, but I'm not sure if the entire combination actually works. Still, I keep going back to take another sip...to figure this thing out.

Poured into a 12 oz tulip glass not sure when it was canned, the stamp missed. Pours a pinkish orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves thick waves of lace with solid retention. A bunch of left over fruit floaties, not sure how I feel about that. 3.75

Aroma strawberry, vanilla, and banana pretty straight forward. 3.75

Taste follows strawberry, vanilla, and banana fairly balanced but not really my thing. 3.75

Mouthfeel is pretty big, gentle carbonation, not sticky or dry, and at 9% it goes down rather easy. 3.75

Overall this one isn’t something I am loving, but it still glad I got to try it and also happy it was only a single. 3.75
