Pours dark brown with a thin tan head that fades quickly. Aroma is roasted malt and dark fruit. Taste adds a touch of dark chocolate along with the roasted malt and dark fruit. Feel is good with low carbonation. Overall a stand up oatmeal stout.

(5 oz taster pour, at the brewery)
Deep, dark brown liquid with no foam (retention). Roasted barley and a touch of dried fruit most prominent on the nose. Rich malt flavors, but dryness similar to an Irish stout; subtle hints of raisin black candy licorice in the aftertaste. Felt a little too flat on the palate, but only small sips were taken; light-medium bodied, delicate slickness.
Something I hope stays regularly available. Flavors reminiscent of both American and British styles, but arguably more the latter. Certainly looking to get a full pour next time.
