This classic pilsner was brewed with our friends, former Philadelphia Flyers Scott Hartnell (#19) and Kimmo Timonen (#44). This top shelf beer is a clear golden goal color with a creamy white head. The aroma is a hat trick of grass, earthy hops, and spice. That is followed by a power play of sweet doughy taste, reminiscent of warm muffins and biscuits in the basket. No misconduct here, as the finish is as clean and crisp as a one-timer that lights the lamp.

Rather tall pour (had to have been more than a 'pint' as advertized) in a sort of oversized Sam Adams type lager glass at the brewery... Was expecting a bit more from this... Very little in the way of hop nuance or malt richness... Very little foam on the pour... Dry and crisp; side pull tap pour... Serviceable but forgettable. Wallpaper... This could be categorized as nothing more than an 'American pale lager' - the original presentation of this was that of a German pils (which it is definitely more like) but is now billed as a Czech pilsner; I couldn't help comparing this unfavorably to one of my favorite local Czech pilsners from Human Robot (1864)
