Bright white head, starts to really fill up the glass and had to slow down the pour, the foam very lacy with many nooks and crannies, minimal lacing. Light penetrates about a half inch below the surface otherwise it’s yellow hued purée. The nose on the whole is fairly subtle, strong spine of lemon and white grapefruit citrus, raw grains, apricot to pear fruit scents, trace of bubblegum, admirable freshness as it dissolves. Medium-bodied, the carbonation has it foam up just before you swallow, before that it was lighter and crisper. Here the yeasty element comes through and the bubblegum more pronounced as well. Lemony and grainy as expected, adds a mineral water quality as well. Pineapple, guava, apricot fruit adroitly balances tang with ripeness, Like it and if the carbonation had behaved would have held it in higher esteem. (Canned 9/8/20)
