From a 16oz can. Canned on 02/04/2025
The beer pours a clear and bubbly looking golden color. There's a 1 1/2 finger white head to the beer. Decent head retention and a small bit of lacing on the glass.
The aroma has a bit of grain in it. There's a slight skunk aroma, which seems fitting with the style. Not sure if it is intended, or due to age.
The beer is malty for sure. I am getting some biscuit. There's a good deal of a grain flavor here. Some sweetness in the flavor. There's a bitterness on the finish. Overall the flavors do seem somewhat muted, and I'm guessing due to age.
Light, crisp and clean body. Slightly bubbly feeling.
I wish I would have known it was an older beer. I have a feeling it would have been better fresh.
