Shy Bear Brewing "My Lipgloss Is Poppin'"
$6.50/13 oz. on tap at the brewery on 13 August 2022
Notes: Listed as a "Prickly Pear Imperial Sour Saison" at 9.2% ABV with 24 lbs. of "funky, floral, prickly pear cactus fruit" per barrel. It's a slightly hazy deep amber beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is fruity but not specific, and suggests acidity within. The taste is tart, and fruity like apple, pear, and melon. The sweetish golden malt has an edge of golden caramel to it. A firm bitterness brings it to a dry, acidic, and lightly mineralish and earthy finish. The body is medium on the lighter side, and it's zesty in the mouth with acidity and a fine-bubbled, seemingly natural carbonation.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
