Can into Nonic Pint
Look: hazy orange yellow, pouring a 1 finger head which slowly dissipated into a thin cap
Smell: Strong earthy resins, touch of dank, some malt, lemon and ripe mango. Very sweet aroma
Taste: Sweet ripe mango with some lemon. Lightly resinous pine, earthy. Orange. Light bitterness, with a mellow finish. Lingering lemon and orange pith and obviously, mango
Feel: medium bodied, gentle carbonation, semi crisp. Silky texture
Overall: I think the mango carries this beer. It’s good, but there are some underlying flavors i don’t exactly love

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium to keep golden orange/yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Aromas of orange, pineapple, ripe mango juice, (3.75)
Flavor: Flavor follows with orange, pineapple, mango. Some sweet orange, pineapple, mango juice lingers. (3.75)
Feel: Medium to heavier body, appropriate carbonation. Smooth. (4.00)
Compared to RAR Loose Strokes 3/26: Pours darker, similar aromas. More mango/pineapple. Less vanilla, orange.
Overall: Drinks as described. Mango juice addition is alright. Not my favorite style. (Rating: 3.79)
Update: I tried this the other night but wasn't a fan. Not a big fan of fruit or adjuncts in beer. However, this is drinking much better the second time around. The mango seems more tame tonight. A bit better than I remember.

Their mouthfeel on hoppy beer has become neutral on mouthfeel, no feeling of palate erasing. That's a good thing, particularly for this fruit ed imperial.

Can purchased from Mortalis Brewing in Avon, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like sticky mango, pineapple, passionfruit, grapefruit, and marijuana.
Like most Mortalis IPAs, this seems to have gotten better with time. It's a little bit sweet, but it's got a great sticky and citrusy hop character, with just a little bit of weedy bitterness on the back end.
This is light bodied, clean, and a little bit creamy, with a good drinkability to it.
This is pretty good stuff, but not in the upper echelon for Mortalis IPAs - that's the OldManBearMa series.
