This Fruited Sour was brewed in collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing and Oregon Fruit Puree. It blends raspberry, peach, plum, toasted coconut, white chocolate, and hazelnuts together to form just one of this monster’s many heads. Keep your eyes peeled for even more flavor combinations.

Pink smoothie pour complete with lighter tones as you go toward the head. Aromas of all of the starring adjuncts, odd but i don’t hate it, a bit busy. In the taste the fruits lead, coconut and white chocolate pair nicely, hazelnut is a big lost save a kiss in the middle but that’s ok. Big easter bunny white chocolate on finish with peach especially. A unique tasting dessert beer for sure. Classic hydra feel, great tart and sweet textures with thickness through the whole sip. Extra points for creativity

I'm not sure how to judge the appearance of smoothie beers like this--it's thick, pulpy, and messy. On the pour, it emits some huge bubbles like the La Brea tar pits burbling. Purplish-red. Sour lacto acidity on the nose, with miscellaneous fruit puree. The plum hits the front of the palate, followed by the peach and then the raspberry tartness. I was somewhat skeptical of the melange of non-fruit ingredients, but they do all actually show up on the flavor profile. The white chocolate and hazelnut in particular stand out as the beer warms, more so when slurped. The coconut is more subtle.

I'm not well versed in this style, but I imagine that if this is what you enjoy, it's a pretty excellent example of it.
