This Imperial Coffee Stout is brewed with a favorite local coffee. It is full-bodied with loads of coffee and then finishes with hints of rum, cinnamon, pecan, and chocolate. We have added an additional layer of flavor by conditioning the beer on peanut butter and marshmallows.

Pours a paler, oily hue capped with a finger of dark beige foam; decent head retention produces a sparse cap, slim, frothy collar, and minimal-no lacing clinging to the walls of the glass.
Aromas open to malt roast and unsalted peanuts, steadily building to tinges of richer peanut butter mixed among subtle tones of coffee grounds.
Taste offers peanut butter-laced coffee sporting flaked almond accents, with a hint of burnt marshmallow lingering and a dark cacao underscore toning the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-full body and minimal carbonation, showing a slick, creamy progression over the mid-palate as a deft, flaky tautness yields mild char and stickiness through a minimally bittering finish.
Gentle adjuncting atop a modest base, leaving a somewhat noncommittal if safely enjoyable final product.

On tap at Mortalis Brewing Company in Avon, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like pecan, maple, milk chocolate, peanut butter, marshmallow, and rum.
This is perhaps the best variant of this one yet. Neither added adjunct really overpowers the gret coffee character, and does more to just sort of amplify and intensify the noticeable qualities of the coffee. It's already nutty and kind of creamy marshmallow-like, so the flavor additions really do complement this one.
This is thick, creamy, and rich, with a very good mouthfeel.
This was highly enjoyable - I basically always enjoy any take on this beer.
