Hermes hat, often worn by travelers and explorers, signifies Hermes's role as protector of travelers. Packed with Simcoe, Comet, Nelson, and Maui Nelson hop kief, this quad IPA delivers bright tangerine with tropical passion fruit and a fruity berry vibe. Round it out with citrus and a touch of pine, grab your hat, and get ready for an adventure.

Look - Pours a very hazy straw color, with a nice head that sticks around many minutes.
Smell - Citrus, light pine, and I even get the berry vibe from the description. I like the smell!
Taste - Subtle citrus and pine. Nicely mellow and easy drinking.
Feel - I like the somewhat creamy mouthfeel, which makes it very easy drinking, especially for a 12%ABV IPA. Slightly bitter, but good.
Overall - A really nice IPA from Mortalis!

Look - opaque orange with a creamy head that lasts forever (quite an accomplishment with all that alcohol).
Smell - complex fruity esthers. You know it's going to be good.
Taste - a little sweet, with no alcohol taste, which is surprising.
Feel - probably the most velvety of any NE IPA that I have tried.
Overall - may be the best IPA of my 30 years in the business!

Mortalis’ second quad IPA and it’s another killer. Everything about it is bombastic like their BA stouts, only in amped up yellow beer format. Nice murky squeezed orange meets lemon color, loads of dense white head and magnetic lacing. Aroma is a burst of piney and tropical zest. Mouthfeel is heavy, but cleansed by the hops. Flavor is impeccable. Grapefruit, tangerine, mango, Meyer lemon, lime, it’s just a complex explosion. 12% ABV is absurdly dangerous because this drinks like a fun 4% session beer.
