somewhat of an ipl type, a crisp pils malt forward lager with a big hop profile on it that doesnt taste like a noble varietal so me, although it could be really fresh saaz, i get a little of that lime and tea property, but there is a lot more to it, some tropical fruit, sliced lemon, and sweet grass. there is a little haze to this, a keller type lager it looks like, but still bright and with a nice tall head, great retention and lace too. the hops are really citrusy to me in both aroma and flavor, and pretty bitter too, if this is a noble strain, there is a ton of it in here, seems to fresh and wet and new for that though. clean pils malt base is crackery and simple, light to the feel, summery, also fresh. the hops might be just a bit aggressive for those seeking a more classic pils type, but i thought this was interesting and very good overall. nice carbonation, a very clean and patient lager yeast fermentation and conditioning. one of the better beers on the menu here in the early going for this place!
