This pours a wonderful glowing auburn color. Dank, with heavy grapefruit and caramel malt leading to a sharp finish. A reminder of what a red ale can be.

L: Lovely looking ale. Not super malty for the style, but it does have a red tinge. Rolling carbonation and fluffy, long-lasting head.
S: Because it is not overly malty, the Simcoe and Chinook hops are the stars here.
T: A real hop wallop up front. Finishes very dry, but still balanced with some nice malt.
F: Nice carbonated. Spot on for a hoppy IPA weighing in at 7% ABV.
O: There simply are not enough hoppy red ales made today, at least in my market. This is a real treat with great hoppy goodness, while balanced by a smooth, slightly spicy malt backbone. A repeat purchase for sure.
