The contents of a pint can emptied into a clear pint glass brought forth an orange-amber beer without any head. This one is opaque. It smells only fruity, with orange leading raspberry. It brings a mild tartness to accompany the fruit cocktail flavor. There's really nothing close to sour about this. Yet, it isn't too sweet, carries moderately complex flavors and has a decent body for the style. Certainly not a great beer by any measure, this could still make a refreshing change of pace, especially on a hot day. At only 5.5% ABV, a couple of these shouldn't be problematic. If there's going to be fruit in beer, it's much better in a sour than an IPA, so that sensibility applies here.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Hazed amber pink pour with 2 fingers of fizzy white head. Falls fast... modest ring of lacing.

S: Cranberry and orange... a bit tart. Grains and more fruit.

T.F: Mildly tart. Wheat/grains and orange rind. Some light cranberry/raspberry. That's about it. Some residual fruit sweetness. Well carbonated... medium to light bodied. More mildly tart fruit to finish.

O: Nothing all that special, but a decent/easy drinking brew. Modestly tart and fruity... overall refreshing. Good for the season.
