From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid ESB pours a medium dark
amber with an excellent head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin
clumping layer, and sport some nice lacing. Nose of toasted malts, floral
hops, subtle stone fruits, and faint toffee. Flavors pack it in for the
style with toasted malts, caramel, light floral and herbal hops, light
toffee, and subtle peach nuances. Mouth feel is medium light, medium
light effervescent carbonation, smooth, and finishing subtle bitter and
nicely balanced.
Overall, Branch And Bone always produces great brew and this one
is no exception.
Cheers

Found on draft at Bob's Bar in Columbus, Ohio. A nice treat to find an ESB in the midst of all the IPAs.
Almost copper color, decent head although not long lasting.
Not much to the smell...a bit of malt.
Nice sweetness but well balanced by the hops. Maybe a bit of fruit(?).
A bit thin and maybe a bit more carbonation that I would prefer but not bad. ABV higher than classic bitter (this is an ESB, though) but not noticeable.
If you told me this was an English bitter (Fuller's maybe), I would probably believe it. Nice complexity and a good change of pace from the typical craft beer.
