Sticky, dank notes, bright citrus, ripe stonefruit and pineapple come through in the discreetly-elevated ABV of this Double IPA, brewed to celebrate our 4th year. Strong aromas of ripe melon, nectarine, citrus and white wine grapes. Dry and Refreshing. Dominant Hop: Nelson (New Zealand)

From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 26, 2020
Consumed: Dec. 29, 2020
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 2, 2020
Grabbed this and 10 other singles when I planned to go to Windmill Farms for two other 6-packs (I still got those). I’m a big fan of Eppig’s lagers, but not quite as much of their IPAs. Had seen this a bunch of times in stores but this would be my first time picking it up. Online description was “Limited release! Strong aromas of ripe melon, nectarine, citrus and white wine grapes. Dry and refreshing. Dominant hop: Nelson.”
Poured a medium gold-to-light amber clear color with four fingers of rocky white head. Tons of fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Perfect retention. Such a good-looking beer. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled dish soap, lemon-lime zest, dank pine, black pepper, stone fruit, papaya, hints of white grape and lingering melon. Very good from the can too. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted better than the nose. In order got stone fruit, nectarine, peach, pineapple, dish soap, lemon-lime zest, dank pine, black pepper, white grape and melon. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Damn. This beer kept getting better. Very good overall. (Overall - 4.00)
