16 oz can on the Pacific Surfliner from Fullerton to Old Town Station. This is the way to travel.
Orange to yellow in its haze. Fluffy white head is solid, sticks around, and lays down some fluffy layers of lacing.
Nose is a smooth melange that starts of with a bright, almost creamy, citrus juice note before going earthy in its tropical notes: pineapple, mango, and a green hint.
Flavor continues with the citrus leading. Yes, still a bit creamy. Then some pineapple, mango, melon, green grass, some herbal notes, and finally a hint of pine resin or weed. But mainly creamy citrus.
Mouthfeel is between crisp and fluffy. Good carbonation level.

Bottle.
A: Moderately hoppy with tropical fruit, with slight citrus and pine, coupled with moderately light malt sweetness.
A: Light orange-yellow color, totally clear with a moderate uniform head.
T: Hoppy upfront with tropical fruit, slight citrus and pine. The beer is moderately bitter with a dry finish.
M: Medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Solid; Easy enough to drink - the beer has a solid tropical fruit character, though finishes a little too bitter.

On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, dirt, and earthy hop aromas. Taste is much the same with malt, citrus zest, dirt, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a lot of dirt and earth qualities along with the citrus hops I am getting.
Serving type: on tap.
