Teaming up with Amherst Brewing once again to bring you something quite different than what we typically produce. This is a true to the style brew, with all English ingredients and low carbonation.

From a 16oz can, undated. Served in a big ol’ mug.
Pours a semi-opaque acorn brown with an insignificant amount of soapy suds. Retention is effectively nil, leaving just a fizzy little collar.
Clean malty aroma. Nutty and vaguely cider-like. Smells like fall.
Taste is sweet and round. Fruity at first, reminiscent of grape juice before the semi-bitter toasty malt builds on, and clings to, the palate.
Feel is full, slick and mouth coating, medium-creamy bodied with gentle carbonation.
Overall, not a style I can claim much familiarity with but certainly enjoyable enough although at times it verged on overbearingly sweet and fruity, like a juice box. Still, I can see sucking down a few gallons while getting in the hay.
