a heck of a beer to break a sober month with, i really enjoyed this, delicate and interesting, traditional but different. my bottle says 3.7% abv, not the 3.3% abv listed here, must vary from batch to batch. spain seems like a weird place for this style to come from, but the execution is on point. very pale yellow color, soft looking, close to clear through most of it, a little haze toward the bottom, and a full inch of creamy and pure white head, fading a little faster than i want it to, but this looks nice overall. the aroma is lighty grainy, some dusty wheat character, earthy in a mild way, with some noble type hops behind it, very grassy and apparently with some bitterness too. the yeast isnt quite wild but does have a little funk to it, very mellow tartness, fresh saison character more than anything through. the flavor is pleasant and reserved, with some hop bitterness rising late, almost a green tea note to it. more nuance to the fermentation than i could smell, slightly vinous, floral, and very drying, this is insanely fast finishing and even clean for the style. less of a rye malt thing than i have come to expect in the style, but the simplicity of the malt is part of its appeal at the same time, white wheat and pils it seems making up the majority of it. good carbonation but not extreme, light without being watery, easy drinking and well refined but also still rustic, which i prefer in the style. i am so glad these beers are available in boise now, i cant wait to try the others!

It pours hazy light yellow color with medium sized long lasting white head. Foam leaves some laces. Moderately lemon like fruity, slightly spicy and subtle grassy aroma. Taste is slightly citrusy sour and moderately peppery bitter. Crisp on the palate. Completely dry finish. Citrusy and spicy aftertaste which is really refreshing. Very hard to recognize it's only 3.3% Abv. Low bodied and effervescent. Very innovative and highly drinkable table saison with only 3.3% Abv.
