Surprising MudHen doesn't have a glass rinser at their bar. Glasses all get served with nasty bubbles clinging... This didn't detract from the brilliant bronze-straw color of the liquid; bit of wispy foam lingering for a moment... fragrant, phenolic spice on the nose and palate, like some hybrid between a Dupont and an overproof Tripel... crisp, clean, vibrantly moreish sensations... the flavor cuts here register more like a Cognac or apple brandy-spiked Dupont... hours later, and I can still smell its warming, spicy goodness on my upper lip... another one they unfortunately had no take-away cans of (2447)
