Our Nebula series of hazy IPAs highlights single hop expressions, layering an individual hop varietal's unique character over a soft, sessionable base. Healthy doses of oats and wheat smooth out the sweet malt backbone, while a double (or more!) dry-hop schedule amplifies the bright aromas of our chosen hop.
Citra is a classic hop of the modern brewing world, boasting an extraordinary concentration of aromatic oils packed with grapefruit, pineapple, and lime notes.
For this single-hop expression, we've blended in BarthHaas Spectrum – a pure liquid hop extract – as part of our dry hop additions for a cleaner extract and more stable aromas.

400ml pour at the brewery. Review entered from notes.
Pours murky, slightly grayish in the bar light. Big, maybe two fingers of head, dense and creamy. Smell is citra lemon and resin. Smells like fresh hop.
Taste is bright, screaming citra. Hefty resin finish, moderate orange julius creaminess, floral around the edges.
Mouthfeel is creamy with a resinous stickiness. Overall, this is excellent. Reminds me strongly of fresh hops. I wasn't planning on reviewing, but it's really damn good.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
