A contemplative autumn warmer to sip by the fire as the evenings start getting colder.
Red Giant starts with a classic red foundation and pushes it to its natural extreme. Layered crystal malts, hints of spicy rye and creamy oats, and deep caramelization throughout. A touch of roasted barley dries out the body, while a long rest on toasted maple accentuates the finish.

750ml waxed bottle served in a tulip. Bottle #36/239. Bought it at the brewery in Budapest a few weeks ago.
Pours a muddy brown with very little, very fine, creamy head. Mostly still, not much movement happening. Smell is wood and dark fruit, maybe some cherry. Not quite toffee, not quite nuts, somewhere in between.
Taste is interesting. There's a red wine fruitiness, strong woodiness, moderate molasses sweetness. Something slightly jammy. Oaky astringency.
Mouthfeel is thick but not heavy, somewhat dry. Overall, interesting and good, and not really sure what style I would place it in.
