Appearance: Poured with two and a half figures of head that laced and retained like crazy, the body is a cloudy yellow that reminds me of a cloudy hefe save that there is a bit of a peculiar green touch when held up to the light. Possessed a noticable whirlwind of carbonation on the pour but disappeared around the half way mark.
Smell: Lemon and a bit of raw flour smell with hints of banana, straw and sand in the background. Didn't need warming to come out, but as it did greater potency was achieved.
Taste: There is a dry sandy undertone through the entirety of the beer, that I feel takes away from it, but you may enjoy. It starts with biscuit malt with a slight wheat note and turns to lemon before some fairly non-descript hops finish us off.
Mouthfeel: It's very dry, from start to finish, and I'm not a big fan of it. Especially since that note is what rules to aftertaste. The carbonation is well done, and the transitioning is decent, but again a bit too dry for my fancy.
Drinkability: Light bodied, and you guessed it dry. It's interesting to drink, but the dryness kills any potential for refreshment the beer could have. That said it settles down very well.
Final Thoughts: If you like dry beer, this is your jam. I for one am not the biggest fan of it, and really I wish I knew what to pair this with. Maybe mussels? Something that you could temper this dryness with.
