gorgeous color on this one, i assume dragon fruit with this neon pink color, could be hibiscus or something maybe, but its straight flamingo, electric, awesome. less than clear, but not sedimented or anything either, looks close to flat, but it has enough carbonation when i drink it, just no head in the glass. it smells floral and juicy to me, tropical like coconut and guava, subtle melon too, stoked its not sour either, they do enough of that. this is delicate like their spring saison on the fermentation side, im sure the same yeast strain, more subtle than a french yeast generally is, clean for the style, and for how fruity this is, its also quite dry. pink starburst candy, sweet grapefruit, even a lime note. im not a dragon fruit expert, but i think i taste that too, its lush and wet and i like that a lot. it could use a little more effervescence to pick it up, but its still nice and light. i dont taste a lot of grain, but i dont miss it. the color is more loud than the flavor, but it works. i think all of their beer lacks refinement a little bit, like finishing touches, not that this is incomplete, but its a half step from all the way dialed, recipe is rad though. one of the better beers i had in here overall, would be cool with some brett too!
