Month-old can poured into a shatterproof, outdoor beer "glass" in a hotel room on a U14 soccer trip. #soccerdadlife

Pineapple-orange juice body with full haze and just a touch of murk (but no floaties or pulp), and attractive yellow-gold coloring. Creamy-looking head, even after it falls to a foam cap, that provides some really nice abstract splotches and streaks of lacing. Well-carbonated because any type of swish of the glass produces more bubbles and more film. Incredibly creamy and juicy looking beer.

Wow. Maybe I don't drink many beers that spotlight Hallertau Blanc hops. Or perhaps it's the experimental Bru 1 hop at work. But this beer -- on the nose -- is really unlike anything I've had before. Most of that is the beautiful blend of pineapple, stone fruit, vanilla, white wine, mango, lemongrass, and both cantaloupe and honeydew melon. And man this thing is grassy (which I'm starting to think is a Arvon thing, in general.) But there are also two negative (for me) notes that I catch on the nose: a "plastic" aroma (not sure how else to explain it) and an overly sweet confectionary sugar note, which may be connected to the vanilla I get that is pleasantly complimentary up to a point. Overall, I really like it, and given the number of hazies I've had, finding something eye-poppingly different is in and of itself an accomplishment.

Incredibly consistent experience from nose to tongue, which is another welcome surprise. Stone fruit, slightly underripe pineapple, musky wine grapes, lemongrass, melon, with additional notes of sweet citrus, pithy ruby red grapefruit, passion fruit, a little pine, and more grapes. Very, very grassy with a nice cereal grain sweetness. That "plasticy" note returns but is much more muted. (And yes, I realize I'm drinking this out of a plastic glass. That's not what I'm picking up. I wish I could explain it better.) Wonderful balance of semi-sweetness, bitterness, and green herbalness. The lactose is really used well, here -- lovely note of sweetness that is totally complimentary of the fruits involved, in particular the stone fruits. Outstanding.

Fantastic silkiness and creaminess (without being sticky), with the lactose once again taking things up a notch. Very well carbonated (adding to the softness), zero booziness.

Silk in the Wind sounds like a late-night Cinemax movie title. But it's an excellent beer. Shannon Tweed would be proud.

A - Pours a cloudy golden orange with a one finger foamy white head. Nice amount of soapy lacing.

S - Aroma is tangeirne, pineapple, candied lemon and vanilla.

T - The taste is tangerine, pineapple, mango, lemon and piney hops.

M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft dry finish.

O - Another solid NEPA from Arvon.

Excellent NEIPA appearance. Opaque, vibrant, pale straw around the edges. Straw to pale gold color in the middle. Dense bone white head white come lacing and a thick ring of foam around the edge of the glass.

Weedy, lemon pith, orange zest, vinous (white wine), underripe pineapple, a touch of hop burn from this can dated 4/21.

Arvon always seems to nail the mouthfeel. Just so creamy and smooth, but not overly burdensome.

Spectacularly unique
