Pours hazy orange; a finger of eggshell froth. Nose is candied orange, slight pine and gummy candy. Taste follows suit with an overwhelming melon/citrus flavor and an excellent sweet fruit candy finish, slight bitter and piney hop and a velvety, thick, creamy feel. I love this one.

Canned on 11/2/21; consumed on 12/9/21
Pours a turbid, milky/dingy gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, eggshell-white foam; excellent head retention yields over a finger of lush cap, a large, frothy collar, and an extensive spatter of dense, spotty/webby lacing distributed across the entirety of the glass.
Aroma brings a twangy citric minerality into bright pink grapefruit sporting pine accents with a distant sourdough bread malt undertone; lime zest invigorates the middle of the bouquet as a floral undercurrent highlights a lavender spritz into an overripe melon close.
Taste opens with pink grapefruit against dank lemon rind, an eclectic combination of twangy, juicy character swtting a foundation for a balance of melon husk and wispy conifer earthiness before lime zest and overripe pineapple fade into bready malts lingering through the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium body with moderate-full, fluffy carbonation dispersing a spritzy twang over the mid-palate and into the back end, where silky resins spark a pseudo-bitterness into finish and an engrained, juicy hop acidity eases through the swallow.
A medley of texture and flavor, rife with diverse hop expansion and a cleverly wild fusion of classic Chinook and fruitier Mosaic; controlled chaos in this combo, with an end result that's never boring and carries its weight well.
