No canning date (released on 12/17/21, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 1/14/22
Pours a turbid, damp golden body capped with multiple fingers of rocky, soapy, white foam; great head retention yields a half-finger of wavy cap, an expansive, frothy collar, and a haphazard spatter of thin, bubbly lacing caked to the walls of the glass.
Aromas of white grapefruit, fresh orange, and pineapple juice open, welcoming a touch of dank over the middle and sweet mango accented with a hint of grainy spice on the back end and fading into a soft wisp of herb garden contributing to the final impressions.
Taste shows melon rind and juicy white grape upfront, with subtle mango sweetness over the mid-palate into grapefruit peel and earthier notes of pineapple husk on the back end.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body with moderate carbonation, taut and juicy in texture with minor grit developing over the mid-palate and bitterness mutedly fused into the backdrop; a mild hop acidity is extended through the finish.
The Southern Hemisphere hop bill forms refined array of juicier tropical fruits contrasted with the deft bitterness of earthy undertones; ample zest abounds in the relatively lighter package of a 6% ABV NEIPA.
