A light American lager perfect for lawn games, lake days, barbecues, and of courseā¦tee times. Brewed with corn, rice, pale pilsner malt, and noble hops. Light and refreshing with notes of saltine cracker and citrus.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated in tiny print on the label 5/16/24. Got it from @NorsemanOne in a trade.
Pours clear light yellow, moderate sized head that retains surprisingly well, moderate active carbonation. Smell is light, grassy, lemon, a bit of lager yeast.
Taste is far on the lemon side, with grass and honeysuckle in the background followed by a little kick of lager yeast funk.
Mouthfeel is light, clean, crisp. Overall, refreshing, easy to drink, not bad at all.

love the art here! the thing about this beer is that its so well made that it couldnt present as cheap even if it tried, like yeah its got rice and corn in it and is squarely an adjunct lager, but its so well done, so texturally ideal, so flavorful and fresh for this style, so nicely lagered, that it presents like something high end anyway, and thats a big compliment, templin just absolutely rules and they are destroying especially hard lately. this has a pretty golden pour, sparkling and very light looking, near immaculate clarity, lots of bubbles and an almost side pull faucet fluffy white head on it, looks epic. aroma and flavor are lined up well, dry cereal grain and more than just neutrality from the rice and corn, a little sweet in the middle, a little starch too, even a floral note, not just fermentables and fillers, but major contributors, cool! the freshness of the grain also stands out to me as a plus here. the yeast is just lightly european, bready, and crisping, really classic and it almost makes this lean helles-like, bright minerality in the mix too. the hops seem noble and well in the background, mostly on the finish, but make this refreshing with trace citrus and a right on the swallow bitterness that goes away fast. this is so clean and easy drinking, so bubbly and lively, light in body but not watery or thin in the least, super dialed in on the quality side and with wonderful balance. i know they arent trying to be high brow with this, but its leagues better than what most others are doing in this style space, this is not a throwaway yellow beer, and i wish my whole fridge was full of it!
