collaboration with breakside, super tasty, modern, clean, bright, well made, unique on the hop side, a very enjoyable can of beer to say the least! there are a fair few hops in here including cryo chinook which is cool. but its the nectaron terpenes that i think make this as distinct as it is, a great combination, not forced and overdone, really solid. yellow and crystal clean in the glass, high shine with a ton of bubbles and a lasting inch or more of pure white head like fresh fallen snow. the hops are way cool, peaches, southern hemisphere white wine, a little weedy dankness in both aroma and flavor, orange zest and its oil, pineapple both fresh and canned, coconut water, gin, and pine, its all here and there is decent bitterness as well. i love how light and out of the way the grain is, and this ends up sneaky strong, drinks light for what it is, very much on the dry side as well so its pretty quick finishing for how robustly flavored it is. stone fruit, papaya, clover honey, pine resin, and lemon, really good. super clean ferment, bitterness is there but it doesnt linger, and the carbonation pops it off. epic freshness, the terpenes make it intense and hoppy early, but its delicious and different, and seems like a sensible collab for these two, both makers of truly exceptional beer. stoked to have another can of this in the beer fridge!

edit: its taken me some months to rip into the other can, and it seems to have really relaxed on the hop intensity without losing any of its apparent freshness, like its more chill, almost lager-esque at this point, more floral and grassy now, still insanely bright and well refined and without any trace of anything falling off or aging, but the hops have calmed. light coconut and green melon, still lush, a tidy pils type grain base, amazing minerality and tightness, super crisp and refreshing, drinks so much lighter than its listed abv, and it is sexy to look at, high headed and sparkling. this is elite beer, it has evolved nicely in the fridge believe it or not, and i hope they brew it again!

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Got it yesterday in a trade with Norsemanone. If there's a date, I don't see it.

Pours clear light yellow with a medium sized head. Smell is bright lemon and citrus, a little sweet dough in the background.

Taste is good, clean, WC IPA on the light side, with a bit more mineral than I'm used to. Lemon and citrus rind up front, strong bitter in the back with a mild pine character. A little honeysuckle.

Mouthfeel is light, clean, crisp. Overall, very nice, clean, straightforward WC IPA, somewhat on the light side, which is dangerous for the non-trivial 7.4% abv.
