Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/22/25. Ok, so not quite a year old.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: an interesting aroma that is kind of sweet with maybe a little sort of adjunct-malt aroma to it? There is also a lemongrassy character and maybe just a tiny hint of funk. Not sure if that last one is an off-aroma or not. But overall it's actually not too bad.
Taste: like the aroma, with a bit of graininess, some lemongrass, and just a hint of funk that reminds me of like a light table saison or something. Not sure if that's intentional or not, but ... it kinda works for me.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: an interesting beer. I am not entirely sure if the flavor profile is what was intended a year ago at canning, but it's actually not too bad right now.
