From the can: Pale ale infused with apples.
Ingredients: Pilsner, Rye Malt, Carafoam, Apple Purée, Hops
Minor head which settles to rim bubbles and leaves few spots for lace. The liquid is cloudy with a light amber color.
The smell is closer to a dry pale ale. Certainly leans more toward the rye than the apple.
The flavor is complex. It starts off dry like I'd expect, but then morphs into a light sweet-sour flavor of green apples. There's a hop spice in the finish. Good body with a neutral carbonation level. I find myself discovering new nuances with each sip--I'm getting cinnamon and oddly, rusty water (iron). It's not enough to detract dramatically. It's very very drinkable, considering.
