A pleasant saison.
Billed as having "Mountain tea, lavender & cinnamon notes" at 7.5ABV and 25 IBU.
Looks a murky blonde with OK foam that dissipates. Smells mildly herbal and mostly malts. Tastes are the same as I consider this a well-integrated beer. Although my mouth does not believe this is 7.5%, it is refreshing.
This saison is not dynamic like Waloonians are noted for, but they have their yeast. And it will take a while for Kykao and other Greek Micros to develop and keep such effective yeasts consistently.
I was able to get on their Facebook page, but not their website (nor did RateBeer have it correct.) But Kykao seems to be helping spread the micro-revolution to the Peloponese as Patra is the largest city on that peninsula . So. I give them big OA hugs in the startup category and wish them well.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
