I had this on-tap in a tulip at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light haze and a moderate effervescence. Head is a thin layer of creamy white foam with a nice lace left on the glass. I think it's quite attracive.
Smell: lightly funky with just a dash of piquancy. There's a nice sweetness to the malt as well, which provides a nice balance. Not bad.
Taste: rather sweet with a nice light fruitiness and just a hint of farmhouse funk. There's also a little dash of butteriness here, but it's not entirely unwelcome. Hops are grassy and green and, although light, add a nice dimension to the flavor. I totally dig it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess. It works for me!
Overall: this beer is like a true Belgian saison, with a lower attenuation than some French examples of the style. It's also a lowish ABV with plenty of flavor, which makes it quite drinkable indeed. A good beer!

Good overall but was a little light in body and taste that made it come off weak. Bit more umph and it would be better. Very drinkable still but just a bit toned down.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
