Clear golden amber with plenty of foam in the Kasteel chalice. Aroma is tangy and bold Brett yeast. Quite spritzy on the tongue with a tart edge, though it starts with a little malty sweetness.
Mineral taste with unripe avocado. The Brett is quite predominant along with the straw and tangy lime peel tastes. Light and bright. From the 750 ml bottle purchased at Garden Path Fermentation by Skagit airport.

Poured from 375mL corked & caged bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: light golden hue with a moderately strong effervescence and a very light haze. Head is a finger of frothy white foam with a moderate retention.
Smell: lightly funky with a bit of tartness and a dash of fresh, green, grassy hops. Reminds me of springtime.
Taste: very much like the aroma. Mildly sweet with a bit more funk than in the smell, plus a light tartness and hop character. Subtle yet effective.
Mouthfeel: light body with a big carbonation and mouth-filling but airy creaminess. I dig it.
Overall: a highly drinkable beer indeed. Vernal, prickly and refreshing.
