Batch 1. Poured into a tulip type thang.
Pour is an orb of glowing opaque gold with a massive massive head of puffy white foam to top it off. Solid two fingers at least, but not like it's out of control. Just like it has voluminous and great hair that it doesn't want to cut.
Sticks around for ever and sticks to the edge when I finally get impatient and just start jamming it down my throat anyway.
Nose is an incredible blend of tart light lemon and a slightly thicker earthier funk underneath.
Flavour doesn't fully live up to the excitement I had from the initial steps, but I still enjoy it. The tart and funk are a little overwhelmed by something that's part lime, part sweet tropical fruits and part sweet yeast. It's still enjoyable, but it's a little bit of a left turn from where I'd built my expectations, more harsh, and not in the manner that I anticipated.
Finish follows that lime bitter edge primarily and pulls in completely by the end. A disappointing finish to an incredible start. Don't regret picking it up, but it'll probably be a one and done for me.
