This is the 2024 version but no date on the label. Appears nearly clear amber with rings of foam clinging to the goblet. Taste is quite sweet and fruity-- I think of canned peaches, even to that distinctive smell in the nose after you've sipped. Usually that's not such an idea thing but here it's matched with enough other hoppy flavors and a moderate bitterness. Even a zingy finish. You might be forgiven if you thought it was a hazy IPA, but the lush and sudsy mouthfeel with prove otherwise. From the 16 oz can purchased at Town & Country market.

draught
Very sustained, quite creamy, off-white head. Medium light gold, with a bit of murk, for the look. Medium light amount of grapefruit peel and a touch of medium light toasted malt, for the aroma. Moderate but firm, grapefruit peel and a slightly smooth, light toast malt body and flavor, for the taste.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy golden pour, thick fluffy head leaves clumpy lacing. Aroma is citrus peel, light biscuity malts. Taste features a sharp bitter edge, grapefruit peel, lemon. Bitterness stays on the palate.

Got in a BIF from snaotheus. 16 ounce can into IPA glass, canned on 2/11/2022. Pours lightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 3 finger dense and fluffy white head with amazing retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing on the glass, and moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big red grapefruit, orange, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, grassy bitterness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation, medium body. Balanced bready/grainy malts and sticky/resinous/rindy hops in the mouthfeel. Fairly crisp finishing on resins, with a long lingering drying finish and no lingering hop astringency. Mostly a clean west coast finish. Feels like a lot of Amarillo up front with some Azacca or Citra as well. Very vibrant, dank, and fairly juicy hops; with a clean malt backbone. No complaints at all.

16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Dated 02/11/2022. Bought it at Beer Junction yesterday.
Pours a clear light yellow with a huge fluffy head that collapses into a big clumpy mountain range. Smell is lemon, citrus pith, slight brett spiciness, oddly enough.
Taste is mostly back in standard American IPA range. Citrus, pine resin, lemon pith. But a little bit of that hint of brett hangs on.
Mouthfeel is very light and clean. Overall...it's interesting. It's good and I'm enjoying it, but with that head and that spicy brett characteristic, I give it a 90% chance I would have guessed it was a Belgian IPA if I tried it blind.

another righteous hoppy pint can from these guys, this one with an almost candied hop complexion, really forward starting and sort of concentrated to me, maybe a lupulin powder or cryo hop addition to get it started so soon and tasting so pure in here. i get like purple grape candy, orange candy too, and even like peach rings and cooked pineapple, but its a quick climax even though its pungent through the whole thing, later on its a little more of a cooling herbal vibe, and overall there is very little bitterness here. i get melon thats just short of juicy ripe at the end, and maybe a mild blueberry thing, really fruity and dynamic hop profile, distinctive, id love to know whats in here, but of course they never tell you on the cans. this is bubbly and lighter feeling than a lot of them, really dry and without any oily slickness making it stick on the tongue after the swallow. really a fine ipa, and honestly these guys always seem more refined in their hazy styles than anyone else, and i love that. overall its just an embarrassment of riches with their beers lately! i like the split color label on this can too, the first i have seen of that layout from them, really caught my eye on the shelf. delicious and affordable as this sort of thing going. bravo!
edit: even better on tap, so fresh and clean, uniquely hopped, and well refined. great to see some more of their kegs coming through boise!

"Puppies vs. Kittens - The eternal battle"
Appearance - Pours a hazy peach with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, pineapple, peach, citrus and orange peel, hint of grapefruit peel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold citrus and tropical hops upfront. The pineapple, peach, citrus and orange peel, and hint of grapefruit come through next. The bready malts and earthy yeast finish the brew off.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops an tropical fruits lingering.
Overall - A well crafted and delicious IPA. This is my first offering from this brewery which made its appearance here in Cowtown and it is really a promising start.

This is a very nice and dry, hazy IPA. The nose has lots of delicate tropical notes of pineapple, papaya with peach and almond undertones. Jasmine tea and bitter tannins come into play. The malts add a nice body with a faint graham cracker sweetness supporting the hops but staying on the west of sweet. Finish is nice and dry with enough carbonation to support the dry finish.
