Clear amber yellow brew with plenty of foam in the Stella goblet. Inviting aroma of lemon and honeydew. Crisp and well-carbonated. This has a distinct hoppy flavor that is quite delicious. Tastes of melon with a hint of citrus, plus some woodsy stuff. Modestly bitter with pleasant lemon in the aftertaste. Highly quaffable with an abundance of flavor. From the 16 oz can purchased at The Garden Path up north a ways.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Bright, clear golden, foamy head fades quickly. Aroma is light bready, dusty malts. Taste begins with a bit of sweetness, then malts take over, a bit dry and a nice crisp finish.

amazing name for a beer, really cracked me up, i cant get enough from these guys right now either, i look forward to whatever cans they send this way each week and have been buying and drinking them all up. this is a nice lager, although admittedly a little maltier than i thought it might be, not quite as light and summery and refreshing as it could be, but i guess they have enough beers in their lineup that do that. just a shade toward bronze, relatively clear, and sporting a tall white head with nice retention and lace, looks nice in the glass and has a pretty hoppy nose that fills the adjacent airspace for awhile, even outside on an evening with a breeze. its not in india pale lager range at all, as there really isnt all that much bitterness here, and there is great balance with the fuller grain profile, but this is quite american and hopped up by any standard. a slight vienna vibe to the rest of it though, a little bit of toasted richness and sweetness from the malt through the whole thing, some body too, more than expected, but the hops are fresh and citrusy and lighten this up a lot, and the finish is dry, but without much flavor from the yeast, so it ends sort of abruptly. the hops have lemon and grapefruit notes, but are not dominant, and there is an herbal middle here as well. as a fishing beer, i think of boat beer, but i suppose in a different sort of fishing context this makes more sense. a very well made beer, not exactly what i expected it to be, but i am never disappointed in the quality from these guys. this is a nice mix of an old worldy sort of base lager with a modern hopping.

Firsties (again) just as we on the E9 Tac City lager yesterday, so they must be releasing a number of beers at once, or just got to loading them into BA.
Light golden amber, small fading head. An ok lager flavor, light carbonation, steadfast bitterness.
The Tac City lager was a cut above this offering. It's not bad, just nothing stands out.
