If a lager and a hazy had a baby....lemony up front then pineapple to the end with maltiness to fill in the middle.

holy crap they have done it again, but this time with a game changer, maybe the best hazy double ipa i have had this year, maybe last year too, its incredible, their best hoppy brew to date and one to race out and try to score before i drink it all! this is really special beer, perfectly refined and impressively dialed in on all aspects. a soft yellow color to contrast the label, uniformly hazy but not dense looking, no visible sediment, none of that, extremely pale, creamy rich head with great retention and easily roused each time it settles some, fully frothy and lathery the whole time, and the pillowy texture of the beer matches, so creamy, velvet and full but dry and bubbly and drinkable, wheaty, maybe some oats, seem full of protein but well cleaned up too, i wish all hazy beer that a texture like this, amazing! the aroma and flavor are pleasingly fresh, light lemongrass and generic citrus too it, a hint of pineapple too, but this isnt over hopped, nor packed with nothing but new school juice, its not even all that unique in terms of complexion, i dont know the hops, but they certainly arent new to me here, its just the way they come together with this starchy satin grain base and the british yeast they use that makes this so special. i like it not being green at all, being stupidly fresh, and having a little fermentation profile to it, dry and clean still though, oddly not english at all despite the strain, its a great context for it. its effervescent and hides its alcohol incredibly well, and overall is just a supremely well made beer that stands out exactly for that, not some gimmick or technique innovation or something, its just world class beer. as good as the style gets for me, especially out west. a standard to be emulated, so unpretentious too, i am loving these guys right now!

16oz can served in a SIP fest 2020 snulip. Brother in law brought it over to share.

Pours fairly hazy, amber, with a small head. Smell is a lttle bit spicy, and strongly a fruit that I ought to recognize but can't. Musty and rich.

Taste is dark fruit. Some hops. Lots of malt. Very boozy.

Mouthfeel is medium to thick. Overall, good beer.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Hazy golden pour, small foamy white head. Fruity aroma, leaning more on the tropical side, with touches of citrus. Big juicy flavors, fruity, melon, banana, pineapple, mango, tangerine. This tropical fruit punch finishes with a small, slight bitterness.
