We know being by the Point Defiance you might think that we were experts, but that doesn't make us scientists! We're just living like everybody with all the animals in this Hoppy Zoo. For all you Crazy Hop Animals! What is Real? What is Fantasy? You know what isn't. We made you in Unfiltered IPA brewed with our Barbarian Yeast with Talus, Strata, and Citra. We then Dry Hopped it with one of the Craziest Beasts of hops right now. Experimental HBC-586 will explode out of the glass with notes of Guava, Lychee, Cantaloupe, with a slight mint. We also gave it a helping hand with NZ Pacific Sunrise for some Floral Berry and Citrus. Then with a touch of El Dorado to really take it tropical with some fat watermelon and pineapple. Get a little wild to get you through all the long studying days of "Zoology".

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Can is dated 05/05/2026. Bought it a week ago at E9.

Pours almost clear, yellow with a slight amber tinge, pretty good sized head and a lot of carbonation, very fine and pretty fast. Smell is spicy, zesty hops, some wild grass and lots of citrus.

Taste is a bit earthier than I expected, but delivers on the WC bitter profile without kicking out any teeth. Lemon is clearer but the citrus zest is vaguer, malts are peeking around the corner with a little bit of husk.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, fuller than I would expect from the abv. Solid but not standout IPA.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy golden pour, adequate white foamy head. Aroma is stone fruit. Taste is fruity and bready, mild sweetness, light dryness.

another banger from these guys, distinctive too, i look forward to their stuff every week, have been stoked on almost all of it, and was again pleased with this one, a hazy but not unrefined looking ipa with a very unique hop profile, sort of a noble and fruity vibe at the same time, highly herbaceous, especially as it warms and in the aftertaste, but with tons of nuance and layers, i appreciate something a little different each sip, and this was a really enjoyable four pack overall, i cannot get enough from these guys right now. sort of a creamy feel to this one, a little more full and starchy than some of the others, oats almost assuredly in the mash here, a little raw grain character too, and a little porridge vibe, a slightly beefy but nice support structure for these hops, which have some bitterness but arent green or harsh, tease lemongrass and coconut in the nose but move more herbs and tea in the flavor, light melon and pear too, sort of old world and modern at the same time. pretty clean on the ferment but not bone dry, a nice balanced aftertaste here, but lots of bubbles so it never feels slow or heavy. this is real fresh and good overall, stands out from the crowd of these, id love to know which hops they use. some of the more exciting ipa types in the game right now coming from these guys...
