16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale yellow, thin, wispy head, clumpy lacing. Aroma is bready, lemon, grassy, hint of yeast. Creamy feel. Taste features more of the grassy flavors, light Belgiany yeast. Really full.

a collaboration with matchless, two of my favorites getting together on this one to brew one of my favorite styles, i was so stoked to see this one. its quite modern to me, a little unexpected, uniquely dry hopped, and overall extremely well made beer, i saw that coming. nice looking pour here, hazy pale straw colored brew with a little orangey undertone, two inches of frothy popping white head on it with good retention, low glow. it smells juicy and splashy like southern hemisphere hops, something from new zealand maybe, its with pineapple and kiwi fruit and melon notes, summery as can be, and i get this hop element in front of the yeast, which is mildly estery but neither funky nor old worldy and rustic in any appreciable way. the flavor too is hop forward, super intriguing and different though, and not bitter in the least. i get everything from vanilla bean to pickle brine as i sip it and consider it, fleshy raw coconut, fine herbs, mandarin orange, even a slight oaky thing, seemingly all from the hops. the base is wheaty and fuller, fluffy not heavy though, and the high carbonation keeps it light and easy to drink, maybe faintly toasted on the grain side, there is a neat earthiness to it, like sunflower seeds. the yeast is subtle to me, maybe a french type strain but not done too hot or anything, light pear and white wine notes to it, a gentle peppery thing, and its highly compatible with whatever hops are in here. overall a very flavorful and uniquely proportioned take on the style, id love to know what the hops are, but this was a treat to drink, weirdly different and good. ive got nothing but love for both of these breweries!
