Clear golden yellow brew with plenty of foam in the fancy IPA glass. Aromatic with straw and a whiff of the Hefeweizen cloves. Lemony nose. Warm Malt O Meal cereal flavor with the usual dried pear, only somehow more elegant and fruity than typical.
The yeasty Belgian flavor is in evidence, but less bitter and raspy than many. Lush and sudsy mouthfeel. This is actually a really top notch Saison. The moderate alcohol content makes it quite quaffable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market.
