Split between a few sample glasses. Batch 1.

Bright red, clear, still. Smell is cherries and oak.

Taste is super bright cherries, a little fruit skin.

Mouthfeel is flat, smooth. Overall...a tiny bit of liveliness would go a long way.

Cellared the bottle a year. Light magenta tinted red pour with a thin white ring. Hello balaton cherry. Nose and taste are dominated by it in a tart way. Barnyard funk is faint, oak is decent but not very expressive. Body is the issue for me, carb being low is ok, but it is watery, needs more fun, barrel and tartness.

375ml bottle into a tulip. Batch #1

A glassy raspberry red body. This is described on the bottle as a still lambic, so no carbonation, hence no head or lacing. Very good look though.

Strong tart aroma, with some cherry.

On tasting, yes, it's very tart. Quite drying on the end. The cherry flavor seems to build in the mouth, actually making the mouth water. Enjoying this.

Mouth medium, though the still aspect makes it seem thinner. Tart, cherry and drying on the finish.

Overall, a very pleasant drink to sip on after supper. It seems to this (relatively inexperienced palate for the style) that any carbonation would be a detriment. Nice beer.
